My starter is 40yrs old- Originally a Rhye starter that was brough over the US in a baby bottle. This starter is from a very a good friend of mine who shared her starter with me at a food swap group that we attended. I traded for the starter so that I make Sourdough English Muffins. It took me more than 2 years with the starter to make bread.
I usually score a flower on the top or make the bread look like a dragon. Designs may vary from day to day.
